Directors’ Note:
About 30 years ago, it was Hungary that tore down the Iron Curtain, but in 2015, out of “fear of refugees”, the Hungarian government had a new border fence rebuilt along the Serbian-Croatian border.
This architectural structure troubled us, we felt the same aversion about the backward movement caused by the fence, at the same time we have a great fascination for the hybrid spaces of the border region.
With our film we want to raise questions about the norm and practice of territoriality and identity in a playful and abstract way.
